The pond bay of the Warren Furnace collapsed in about 1865 and was repaired unsatisfactorily. The new owner of the site in 1919, Lionel Robinson, restored the bay, allowing the pond to refill. Some of the earlier stone facing and buttresses can be seen in these prints from glass negatives.
