Regrettably, in view of the uncertainty as to when it will be safe for gatherings to take place again due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the WIRG Winter Meeting will be a ‘virtual’ meeting (see separate Post) and the 2020 AGM has been postponed to July 2021 at Fernhurst
The 2020 Annual Report, including Financial Accounts, was circulated to the Membership in July 2020.
If you have previously supplied your e-mail address, documents in future will be sent as an e-mail attachment. This will save considerable effort on the part of our hard working Treasurer as well as reducing mailing and paper costs – and save at least a tree branch. All addresses will only be used for WIRG business. If we do not have an e-mail address for you, the Annual Report has been be sent by post.
The Charity Commission has accepted that postponement of many AGMs is inevitable due to the ruling by UK Government not to socialise, and Government legislation takes precedence over the WIRG Constitution.
